Silk ribbon embroidery is fun, easy to master and very versatile. The three-dimensional effect of this soft, tactile form of needlework is one of its most endearing qualities. Although a variety of ribbons can be used in embroidery, pure silk ribbons are the only ribbons fine enough to slip through the eye of a thin chenille needle and then though fabric to create delicate silk flowers. Silk ribbon embroidery uses a few stitching techniques that are unique but do not let this put you off as they are very easy to learn.

Spring
Many of Jacqueline’s designs are inspired by her garden, and the woods near where she lives. In early Spring she’s blessed with thousands of blue bells in the woods and also the odd daffodil.
Summer
Summer is a wonderful source of inspiration for silk ribbon embroidery, with its bright pinks, mouves and purple flowers in the garden. Jacqueline loves her garden, hence the summer hearts and roses design.
Christmas
You only need to learn a few stitches to create a beautiful little wreath designs that can easily be made into a Christmas decoration or ornament.

Some students have had previous bear making experience, however for many this is their first bear or the first time they have picked up a needle since school. Jacqueline invites you to come and join us on your own learning journey. Come and join like minded people and indulge yourself with a little mindful Me time. Because, you deserve it!
